Why?
Virtually all "raw" or "cold pressed" coconut oils are exposed to high heat during pressing and centrifuging. This unique, must-be-tasted oil is painstakingly pressed and hand-filtered in a pristine, cold-cured process that retains far more Lauric Acid and Vitamin E tocopherols and tocotrienols. And the melt-in-your-mouth flavor and supremely smooth texture is totally out of this world!
Ingredients:
• Has a higher lauric acid content than many other brands (ranging from 50% to 59%)
• Has a long shelf life (2 to 3 years) due to its intact tocopherol (Vit. E) content which acts as a natural preservative • Has fresh and mild coconut aroma, free from odors
• Has antiseptic fatty acids which are anti microbial, antibacterial and anti fungal
• A unique and powerful base ingredient for Health and Beauty products
• Processing without the use of heat retains all the fatty acids and tocopherol content (Vitamins A, C & E) found in the coconuts

You WILL taste the difference. This oil is unlike anything else available in stores! Produced in small batches by hand, truly RAW, absolutely no heat virgin coconut oil (ANH VCO) is a rarity in this world of mass-produced oils.
Coconut oils are produced by removing the coconut meat from the shell before pressing the oil from this pulp. In order to remove moisture from the oil, most producers HEAT their coconut pulp very high.
Our supplier uses a unique process of cold-fermentation, in which the fresh coconut meat is pressed to form a creamy coconut milk, which is hand-filtered and then settles in refrigeration, separating water and oil naturally. This oil is then hand decanted and put through a multi-stage filtering and bottling process.
