The Basics on beON

  • What's the deal? How do we shop and join? Give it to me straight!

    Anyone can shop at beonliving.com, at prices lower than retail, but Members get deeply discounted prices.

    Membership is based on the agreement to buy on average $50 of product per month, ensuring a predictable flow that lets us plan ahead and secure lower prices from our sources (think of it somewhat like a CSA, where people buy-in early and get better prices for supporting the farm).

    Members' credit cards are automatically charged $50 every month (starting upon sign-up). This becomes credit in each Member's account, visible when they go to their shopping cart.

    Purchases made are deducted from this credit. Unlike a gym membership fee, the beON monthly member autocredit rolls over every month: e.g. if a member goes on vacation and comes back after a month, they will have (say) $100 in their account, instead of the usual $50.

    It's important to remember that beON Member prices are extremely discounted, so $50 goes a LOT further than it ever would in the store or at other websites. And only beON donates 1% of sales to groups like Amazon Watch, that work to protect, respect, and enrich the communities and ecosystems that supply our food.

    If a member exceeds their monthly credit, they system simply charges their credit card the remaining balance at checkout.

    Shipping costs are not included in the monthly member credit. Those are charged to the Member's credit card at the time of checkout. (Free shipping is available, currently for orders over $125)

    Membership can be cancelled at any time, simply by calling 866-888-1918

    After canceling membership, customers can still shop at beON, but not at the deep-discount member prices. Re-instating membership after cancellation can be done for a small fee -- around $50.
  • What is the Custom Basket? What is the Autoship Option?

    Members can order products whenever they want, but they can also create a custom assortment of regularly-consumed products for monthly autoship (on roughly the same date they first signed up). Autoship Baskets can be edited at any time.
  • If your prices are so low, how can your products be any good?

    If you've bought superfoods from any of the major online superfood sites or store brands, chances are you enjoyed our products on several occasions. Our strictly-high-integrity sources have been supplying many of the major brands in this market for years, and increasingly more of our products and sources are Video Verified, to show you exactly how your food is produced and where it comes from.
